Smaller Loopy Bows

I made smaller bows tonight. I like the first one lots better. Sorry about the photos.

Small Ribbon Flowers

I tried making some smaller flowers tonight. I really like how they turned out. I am not planning on leaving a dime on them but I haven't found buttons I like yet! They use two different techniques to make the petals so there is a totally different look with this first one.

How much would YOU pay?

I am going to try selling some of my bows at a Christmas Boutique so I have been trying to figure out how much to charge for them. On Etsy, the bug clippies are selling for around $4.50 and the other bows sell from $3-$10. How much would you pay for different bows. Please answer my poll and let me know how much you would pay.

Thanks for the help!

Ladybugs

I can't find the red ribbon with black dots in stores by my house so I tried making the ladybug with a few different colors (hot pink, pink, and red). Which is your favorite?

Caterpillars

I saw these on etsy and wanted to try and figure out how to make them. I think I got pretty close. I just made 4 circles with 2" pieces of ribbon to make the body.

Butterflies

I've been wanting to make the butterflies for a long time...I can't decide if I like them or not.

Big Ribbon Flower

I made a ribbon flower using bigger ribbon...what do you think?? Sorry the picture is blurry.

Bee Clips

These were a little more work than I thought!!! I also ended up doing them wrong...but if you can't tell, why should I???

Halloween Layered Bow

I found this fun ribbon at a yard sale and immediately knew it would make a fun Halloween Bow. We just need it to be October!

Layered Bows

These bows are made using 2-4 layers of bows in different colors. They are fun to make for coordination outfits.
My oldest has a skirt that is these exact colors!! I love it!

This is for school. We put in one of the uniform colors with some pink!!

BYU Bows (a must at our house)

Scrapbook Flowers

I am not a huge fan of buying silk flowers and making a bow out of them but I love these scrapbook flowers. My sister bought them at Robert's Craft and they made perfect clips.

Triple Loop

I used a triple loop to make these simple bows. They are made the same way that I make the layered bows. I think it is easy to make these but I did find out it takes coordination to make these bows (I tried to teach my sister and she couldn't get it)!!

(I don't like this one because I made it too big...it was one of my first bows.)

Double Loop Bows or Pinwheel Bows

These bows are simple and were made with a cardboard pattern. They are SUPER EASY!!

Small Ribbon Flowers

I made these ribbon flowers with only two layers. I think they turned out perfect!! They aren't too tall and still look like a cute flower. I still need to find a button or other embellishment for the center on these clips. I made them for school so that my oldest has something cute to wear in her hair to off-set the boring uniform she has to wear (she is not excited about the colors)!!

Simple Clips

I love making these clips. I did 15 in about an hour!! All you do is cover your clip, make a circle for the bow, glue a ribbon around the circle to make the bow and glue it on the clip! I found all this ribbon at Michael's.

Ladybug Clippies

This little bug looks adorable in a little girls hair!!! The hardest part of making this clip is finding the red ribbon with black swiss dots. I lucked out and found some at a yard sale. You can buy it online but I have yet to find it in a store. If anyone finds it, let me know!! I did find some with white dots at Michael's and am thinking about using a Sharpie to make the dots black!!!

Ribbon Flower

This looks complicated but it really isn't. This flower is four layers which makes it a little tall. I still love it and think it turned out really cute. I need to find some cute center buttons to put on these bows. This one has a butterfly because that is all I could find when I made it!

Minnie Mouse Clippie

The pictures on this didn't turn out but it is a really cute bow. It definitely took a lot of coordination to make all the small circles and the small bow but my girls LOVE it!! This is another clippie that I made for our Disneyland trip. It should be made with grosgrain ribbon but I made it with some satin ribbon that I had. I think it would hold it's shape a little better with grosgrain ribbon.

Castle Clippie

This was my first attempt at making a clippie. I think that it turned out pretty good! I made the castle clippie to wear in Disneyland. My only problem is that I only made one and had two girls that wanted to wear the clip!!

Loopy Bows

Loopy Bows are fun to make and don't take a lot of time...just a little coordination!! You will need french barrettes and floral wire in order to make a loopy bow.
